THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, THE MORE THEY REMAIN THE SAME!!
Two Streams of thought, two social identities. Truly the Dychotmy & Duality of two nations. How systemic is this racism anyway? How infected and affected is this system anyway? Oh yes, I know how you feel. Yes, it is a Rabbit Hole; so time-consuming and intricate like tentacles. Seemingly unassuming until it’s time to grab you and feed on you. Now that doesn’t sound very pleasant, I know. Let’s take a look at those tentacles.
TENTACLES
A lady by the name of Jacqueline Battalora, Ph.D.,H.D. wrote a book called Birth of a White Nation. Her talks are quite amazing. I didn’t know that white people were invented in 1681. Did you? To my amazement apparently, they were! At least the term, white people. Apparently, before that people were free to marry whom they chose. Here’s the thing though; before 1681, so-called, white people were referred to as British and other free borns, British and other Christians, Portuguese, Dutch and so on. Then along came 1681 and a number of laws made it clear that blacks could in no way take a white person to court, they could not bear arms, they could not lift a finger to defend themselves. Of course, the other side of this, is that they could be beaten to death, shot to death and completely dehumanized and could get no justice. Fascinating!!
